The other factor in the idea that inflation has been pricked is that 3 months ago banks were failing and govt responded with free money bailouts which are inflationary.
They can't have their cake and eat it too.
I think inflation is going down but it needs unemployment to go up the endless stimulus to stop and longer term supply side investment which has been seriously lacking for a decade.
