this is the exact point i was trying to highlight about downside protection. last few weeks has been wobbly market. fund is down more than the index. all the december alpha up in smoke. platinum doing well as they hold cash and have some nasdaq shorts. magellan will be embarassed when platinum outshines them on downside protection performance.
