kenng' : agree with your insights into shorting and MFG in particular.
I use MorningStar Premium for judging 'fair value', 'over-sold' & 'over-bought' stocks and from experience appreciate their analysis. Below is a pictorial view of MFG but there is (of course) numerical detail to back-up this summary. As you have noted, the stock is 'oversold' (shorted) and way below 'fair-value'.
