I think Paul Moore's funds did that Funny thing was he was one of the main shareholders of the ETF"s or equivalent trading at a Discount to NTA. He would be given it is rational and the bigger the discount the higher the incentive.
I don't know how well Know it is But Paul Moore cut this teeth working with (under) Kerr Nielsen at when he was at BT (before the 1987 crash) . I often look a the PM Capital funds and other similar value themed funds an not the similarities in stock picking. Leading to commonality in stocks picked. Platinum is more prepared to back their judgement though.
