As of Feb 1 the short position in PTM was about 2.16 % of the stock.
That's down form 3.83 in 28 Sept of the previous year.
So reducing shorts are probably helping PTM's SP.
The reduction in shorting is in keeping with PTMs and the markets rising SP over that period.
And yes action between Pendal and Perpetual may well have had some influence in that. Pendal no being taken off the board a san individual Fund Manger. the general shellacking for Magellan now lightening would have had an effect too. My last few comments should illustrate that there are many factors that effect net short s(h)elling.
