Yeah... this "private school boy" arrived as a poor immigrant, went to a rough public primary school & grew up in govt assisted housing.

You want to see privelege ("white", green or blue), yes, the finance world is a good place to look. Collect a fee on other people's money while you do little more than hug an index and pump out the marketing. But frankly, if you think that's what the guys at PTM have been doing, then you really are not seeing too clearly. I am more likely to respect an active fund manager that has put its cojones on the line, even if it has trailed the index, than one that has matched the index by being a closet index hugger.

And that is a "color neutral" value judgement.
