Thanks, a sincere post. Perhaps other posters are actually trying to be helpful with a different perspective on equity trading. Looks as though you are very experienced so you will not mind some examples of using that "contrarian value based investment approach" would not have resulted as hoped eg Ariadne, State Banks, Bell Group of Companies, Adelaide Steamship, ABC Learning, Babcock and Brown, Bond media, just to name a few?
