You've got to understand why they are invested in those companies - it is not for exposure to US growth. It is for exposure to developing markets via the companies domiciled on US exchanges. Much of the growth of the growth for these businesses is out of SA and other emerging markets (not US mainland) as those economies charge into 21st century.
