We bounce ideas off each other and discuss PTM in depth.
The biggest argument we have is I say relative performance matters. He says absolute performance count viz. you can't eat relative performance.
It's the EPS 2023 that we should be focussing on, and need to get (relatively) right. (Even if the market says they are investors but is really full of speculators). Or as Warren & Charlie say-"The market is in the short term voting machine, in the long term a weighting machine."
Although I think they appropriated it from Peter Lynch & he possibly from Benjamin Graham.
