Outflows of only 1.3b in a few weeks during a period when the market was flying. Good for a brief spike by the looks! Doesn't mean anything positive really, does it? More bad news.
I don't know why anybody would touch this after they kept the Amber warning - which was a dead cert for losing a lot of their oversized mandate at least - to themselves and their institutional mates. Its OK if you are a mushroom ;-) I could live with periods of under-performance. But I don't see how there is any coming back without a cleansing moment - and the lawyers will warn against doing that I suspect - so until they do that it will be a sick company that hasn't owned up, and will possibly be what stops Hamish from coming back too - he seems to be an honourable guy, so it is sad to be missing such a talent! I don't know why anybody needs reminding. All IMO so don't sue me! I wouldn't want to work for them ATM, not that they would invite me.
I do hope they man up and clean the slate!
