Unlike others on here, your input is necessary. There is a distinct difference between downramping, which some on here are guilty of, and cold hard facts.
I too find it amazing the reluctance to accept passive investment strategies, such as index based ETFs are killing the active funds industry. Don't just look at SPIVA - look at other research houses - active management has failed for over 35 years.
And by fail I mean - when you are missing the benchmark circa 80% of the time.
Which responsible adviser could recommend a product with such a low success rate?
