Is not good - the outflows continue unabated. Past 5 months, total outflows of $12.3bn comprising $2.5bn in July, $1.3bn Aug, $3.6bn Sept, $2.4bn Oct and now $2.5bn Nov. Total Institutional outflows in that period of $9.9bn and $2.4bn for Retail. Every $ of Retail FUM is equivalent to $4 of Institutional FUM on a revenue basis, So the $2.4bn of Retail outflows since 30th June is equivalent (in a revenue sense) to $9.6bn of Institutional outflows.
MFG cannot sustain a turnaround in share price until these outflows stop. Meanwhile, it remains in a "death by a thousand cuts" scenario.
