for those interested, I called up MFG about a week ago to discuss their upcoming retirement product with them, as my mum is actually retiring at the end of this year and I am researching the best place to keep her retirement savings.
The person I spoke to couldn't tell me too much, but basically said the product would be structured differently to how every other MFG fund is structured (to provide that monthly income for the unit holders) and that it would be coming in Q1 2021.
this could translate to some decent FUM growth on announcement. depending on where the SP is come Xmas this year we could hopefully rally back at ATM soon on the announcement.
