I see what you are saying. Just to clear one as prof the argument you have mentioned about performance over 3 ,5 and 10 year period, you are falling into same trap like few others here. Fund managers will understand that it was just one year and one incident which distorted those numbers. As for retail investors, I think they see only few months reporting. As soon as they see MFG annual numbers are great , which will happen in March 2022, they will want to switch back.

Well hopefully superfunds and retail investors will overlook the one misstep that Magellan have made. Though, I am more cynical around this than you.
