I don't agree with the outperformed in every bear market.
Covid created a market shock, Magellan may not have captured all the downside but they captured next to zero of the recovery.
Then they did a great job capturing all the downside of Alibaba and Tencent.
The NTA of the listed global fund is still not where it was pre-covid, hence the current predicament.
Don't rely on their marketting spin. Its just shifting the narrative so suit the situation.
They have taken a hit to their reputation and the only question now is how well they recover.
I'm betting on they will do better, but who really knows.
