Everyone values downside protection. There is a difference between saying you have downside protection and demonstrating downside protection.
Alibaba and Tencent demonstrated poor downside protection. 50% peak to trough over a period over 12 months isn't downside protection, its bottom drawer mentality that I expected from amatuer investors.
Just to restate, I'm not negative the future, I'm just saying they've stuffed up and people are trying to change the narrative of what this fund suceeded at, which was megacap tech stocks.
