Just to aid with discussion and debate - see chart comparing MGOC, VGS (which is my 'proxy' for MSCI World ex-Aus), MFG, MGF, and Magellan High Conviction Fund - represented as "42104".
I have been reading the thread with interest over the past weeks - sometimes I'm not sure if we are debating FUM versus fund performance. But nonetheless, I am an existing Magellan customer (via High Conviction) and a new shareholder due to the sell-off. So I suppose both metrics are relevant.
Dates are 1/1/21 to 5/11/21.
