You got it - and yet there are investors here who think that high interest rates are to blame for Magellan's demise. It has NOTHING to do with it - Magellan's job is to outperform in any market cycle. That is why it charges the fees it does. When you can't deliver on that performance - or when your sausage McMuffin tastes worse and is costlier than Maccas - why would people do business with you?
Too many people here don't seem to get that.
