First, the plural of ETF is ETFs. Not ETF's.

Please try not to contradict yourself or the company you invest in. They are in fact, both described and legally structured as ETFs.
Hence, listed versions of active strategies are called, wait for it, active ETFs. I know this sector better than you or anyone. ETFs are *tyically* index trackers, though they are completely entitled to be non-trackers or benchmark agnostic too (active). A manager can choose the LIC/trust/ETF structure.
