The exploding stars have aligned for MFG. Key man risk, underperformance and a chain reaction of funds being pulled or put on watch. I have stepped out and will keep an eye on the performance and sentiment over time to see if Chris can turn this ship around. I still like their other investments so if it gets close to ~$4-5 (Cost of Finclear, Barrenjoeys, GYG and their direct investments) I might jump back in with a view that the funds management business is free.
