All the fund managers have high fixed costs and they need momentum of FUM to make profit. Momentum of funds comes from superior performance. many investors are realising they can start early investing in index funds and do just fine over 30 years, without the high fees. PTM is the same. The falls in MFG, PTM and the like are structural, not temporary, IMO. That said, I’ve still got them on the watch list.
