Just been looking at the mining history of Cobalt in Chile and found some interesting pages if anyone is interested

This first one says that 20,000 tonnes of Cobalt where mined in 1903 in La Cobaltera. That's 1,805,500,000 USD on today,s market.

The secound one says that between 1844 and 1941 there was 7 millions tonnes of Cobalt mined in Chile. Which is an average of 72,164 a year for the whole of Chile, which is worth 5,664,948,457 USD.
