I still firmly believe that Simon/Andy/Steve did not make a significant personal investment (cash and super purchases) in this via options exercise, along with other share purchases already made without knowing there was a fair chance, that at the least, they would not lose on that gamble. Yes, it could have been seen as a bad look if they didn't exercise them, but they did.
Now i don't always take Director investment with the same comforting notion - but for the project to be where it was at - they were putting their money where their mouths were.
As stated - up to them now to deliver.
