I understand you've had negative experience of it in the past but generalising consolidations as inherently negative is wrong. I've been through a couple. Most recently FEX and earlier TWH, both of which were handled relatively well. It all comes down to how management handle it and what they choose to bolt on as part of any corporate restructure. The examples that are being cited are more an indictment of dodgy management rather than the mechanism of consolidation.
