Do know that companies on the ASX are really restricted with communications as if they're not jorced, the asx is really restrictive on what is being said- and I know a few companies who've said it wasn't even worth the effort to communicate. ASX anns cost money too don't they- so reckon companies such as Niu are really careful with the cash spend.
Not excuses- just my take.
