would I be correct if I assumed that the head grade to the mill depends on past modelling and mining methodology (I.e. newer gear, double boggers etc)?
I wouldn’t be too focussed about data left behind by RMS … i would do it again through a clearer contemporary lense
re hungry mills … some of those operations do have big hungry mills and the mines have been operating for decades. we have recently seen with Bellevue the conflicts that can arise when a mine is being developed at the same time/stage another team is trying to explore from underground
I suspect some of these operation may love a spell of mining in some underground sections for 12/18 months to allow the explorers and development drillers to work up some new pictures/models
i am also hearing that some of Goldfields operations could come on the block … which could indicate they have taken the easy low hanging fruit with the drilling done to date
