Congratulations - you managed to pull an Iberian Chalcocite high grade freak of nature orebody out as the sole example of a copper mine with a head grade of 4-5%, that 72K of Cu production from Cobre Las Cruces represents about 0.3% of the worlds 2024 Cu metal production tonnage. What about the other 99.7% of the world's production? Many large open pit Porphry deposits being mined in North and South America have copper grades of 0.3-0.5 Cu, many Central African copper belt deposits from 0.5% to 1.5% Cu and many underground Cu deposits vary from 1% to 2.5% and these are higher cost smaller tonnage underground operations.

In Australia having copper grades of 1.5-2.5% Cu is actually quite reasonable grade at today's prices, in an open pit operating environment even with Austrlian costs. And your comments about mineable width can also be checked by looking at the Devlin Creek Cross Scorpion section A-A', the calculated true width of the polymict breccia varies from 25-29m true width in the drilled part of this section. Are you saying that an orebody 20-30m wide is unmineable in an open pit style operation?
