I too was little perplexed why the steep fall today . We were almost testing that 9.9 resistance and we got smacked right back down.
However, just thinking about it. Alot of my friends who are new to investing have not seen a volatile market and were all panicking to sell last week . So maybe it's just a case of fat fingers syndrome to hit the sell button.
Just a theory....
