All nine drillholes that Kin Mining have drilled to date have intersected multiple zones of gold mineralisation
Managing Director Trevor Dixon said: “The latest drill results confirm that we are dealing with a big mineralised system at Merton’s Reward. I haven’t been involved with too many drill campaigns where the first nine drillholes all hit significant mineralisation, and that’s what we have achieved. We are starting to get a clear understanding of this ore body and believe that it is a potential game changer for the company. We have clearly demonstrated that the more you drill at Merton’s Reward the more gold you can find. We are going to spend time evaluating all the latest drill results and expect to be out drilling more holes as soon as practicably.”
“The current JORC compliant Resource at Merton’s Reward stands at 1.08 Mt @ 2.6 g/t Au for 91,000 ounces and is an integral part of our much larger 11.825Mt at 1.9g/t gold for 722,300 ounce Resource base that we have defined. The recent drill results are expected to have a positive effect on Merton’s Resource numbers and the greater Leonora Gold Project. Our strategy at the moment is pretty simple, find more high grade ounces that will add value and increase the profitability of the Leonora Gold Project.”
