Our Chairman's enthusiasm is certainly infectious, he seems the kind of character that might have had a few late night poker sessions in his time, or as the saying goes 'in his disrespectful days'.
Which should set him up nicely for dealing with Rio and Newcrest, whatever else he learnt while studying Law in College.
He has played his hand well so far, holding onto our share of Calibre and keeping 100% of Minyari-WACA, both decisions which look like paying off.
So another big decision coming up might be, do we truck the Minyari ore to Telfer or alternatively do we build our own processing plant at Minyari?
I suppose a lot depends on how big Minyari ends up being. Presumably they could get a small plant built for under $100m, to produce say about 100K ozs a year?
Does any one have a ballpark estimate for what Newcrest might charge astoll processing fees for Telfer, excluding transport costs?
Thought I saw $35 atonne suggested once on the GGP board, anyone know is that a bit pricey or a reasonable estimate?
