I am with you in that Davo, I prefer the plain speaking style of our Chairman to having a smooth, polished performer giving us a word perfect Oscar winning performance.
In the past I can recall being very impressed with CEOs who were so convincing that they could have sold snow to the Eskimos, only to realise too late that there was no substance behind the facade and they were journeymen in it for a quick buck.
This Bod seem to have genuine ambitions for the company. The recent share options scheme allowing them to subscribe for shares at 9.5c or more than 50% above the current SP seems to reflect a sense of fairness and proportion that you don't often see nowadays.
Progress seems very encouraging, the idea of an open pit is fascinating butam getting ahead of myself here
