The northern area remains a mystery. Were did these pegmatites originate from and at what depth and angles?
The typical description of pegmatite formation involves a deep source fertile granite that has several transition phases. As per the map below, its just the top pink pegmatites that are lithium bearing. So far TG6 hasn't been reporting barren of lithium pegmatites (blue/green/red).
So far TG6 just has complex spodumene bearing pegmatites. Those pegmatites are primarily high grade. Those pegmatites are primarily mineralised all the way across the pegmatite. How big is the systems and where does it start? What if all the pegmatites do originate in the north but the come from a narrower area at depth that then fans out?
How does this system interplay with faults?
There could still be massive potential to the north, but it just hasn't been found yet.
