Agreed, the source of Burmeister is a mystery.
This is Josh's image alongside the expanded GSWA geo map for TAY Sheet 3032:
The solid black lines are faults or shear zones exposed, the dotted grey are concealed. My blue line is our eastern boundary.
Possibles sources? Had hoped it was Jagger to the East following the track of weathered material, but can't quite reconcile with the cross sections. Any thoughts?
It's why I'm so keen to have a crack at Jagger, the soil anomaly says something's there but it seems to be much less constrained by faults or shears. So long as it's thick wide and flat lying (and not like Metcalf thin vertical stacked) there's still hope for us
