Well that was an interesting announcement re assay methods

The change in the assay results makes a big difference to the early drill holes.
    • RC06 goes from 9m @ 1.35% to 9m @ 1.77%
    • RC07 goes from 6m @ 0.79% to 6m @ 0.97%
    • RC10 goes from 8m @ 1.25% to 9m @ 1.36% [121-122 is now 0.52% and above a 0.5% cut]
    • RC11 goes from 9m @ 1.62% to 10m @ 1.80% [86-87 is now 0.52% and above a 0.5% cut]
    • RC14 goes from 6m @ 1.19% to 7m @ 1.45% [43-44 is now 0.52% and above a 0.5% cut]
    • RC17 goes from 5m @ 1.17% to 5m @ 1.66%
    • RC18 goes from 4m @ 1.22% to 4m @ 1.52%

Its a shame that TG6 managed to post the table but not recalculate the grades for the A to A' cross section prepared. On several intercepts the length at a 0.5% cut-off increases by 1m which doesn't seem like much but it does make the seams wider. The RC10, RC11, RC31 section is now well comfortably over 1.5%. Purely from an assay viewpoint, its nice high grade material. Size remains an issue and I suspect TG6 will gain that size by going deeper. At the moment when lithium prices are weak and that creates weak share prices so they are focusing on above 200m. This means they aren't yet step-out drilling on RC22/DD24. Yep there's some drill holes above this seam but they weren't extended to the depth needed to know if it extends. I suspect TG6 will refine their thinking around this soon so that if they suspect a seam is 20-30+ grade metres or wider, they will do step out drilling on it (even if deeper). Thinner, deeper seams will be left (for the moment). Its important to get past that 10Mt mark, even if some of it is deeper and may need UG mining.

The comments re Mixed Acid Digest vs Fusion comments are interesting. Below is a check on some companies statements regarding assay methods. As TG6 correctly notes, most are using Sodium. The comments by Atlantic indicate CHR is using Sodium Fusion. FBM is the exception I'd found and is using Mixed Acid Digest the way TG6 was previously:
    • GL1 notes "samples are fused with sodium peroxide and digested in dilute hydrochloric acid" [Jinnings] - 19 Dec 2023 pg17
    • GT1 notes "analysis using Sodium Peroxide Fusion" [AGAT Thunder Bay] - 28 Feb 2024 pg8
    • LRS notes "Core samples are assayed via ICM90A (fusion by sodium peroxide and finish with ICP-MS/ICP-OES)" 31 Jan 2023
    • CHR notes "RC and DD samples were analysed by Intertek in Perth and Kalgoorlie using a standard preparation and FP6 analytical technique."
    • FBM notes "ALS Minerals, multi element analysis method ME-ICP61 utilised for all samples, consisting of multi acid digestion with HF and
      ICP-AES analysis."
    • A11 notes "Analysis for lithium and a suite of other elements for Phase 1 drilling was undertaken at SGS Johannesburg / Vancouver
by ICP-OES after Sodium Peroxide Fusion. Detection limits for lithium (10ppm – 100,000ppm). Sodium Peroxide fusion is considered a “total” assay technique for lithium." and later "Post December 2018 to present – Intertek Tarkwa was used for sample preparation (SP02/SP12) and subsequently
forwarded to Intertek Perth for analysis (FP6/MS/OES - 21 element combination Na2O2 fusion with combination OES/MS)"
