Diamond core drilling is slow compared with RC Drilling.
20m to 30m per shift for DD and 200+m per shift for RC depending on what sort of rock they are drillin into.
So 1 deep DD hole at 400m per week sounds about right to me.
Also land must be cleared for tracks and drilling pads.
I am very surprised RC drilling is not being used, it's much faster. Most of LTR drilling was RC.
Still used some DD drilling for met sampling .
