    Salau Mine (old tungsten mine closed off in 1986 due to cheaper Chinese tungsten.)
    Status:  Pending (Variscan permit application)
    Michel Bonnemaison  CEO of Variscan:  Ariege has great potential which requires surveys especially for tungsten.
    Promising new clues were found: 1 million tonnes of ore and 15,000 tons of tungsten oxide the proven geological potential!
