Good grades but not very wide. For me, the announcement still has the fireworks that fizzle out:
Pros:
- Grades of up to 6.9g/T from the recent drill holes.
- Extends the N-S strike length of Mt Scheelite from ~25m to ~70m.
- Open N-S and not yet tested at depth.
Cons:
- MS22RC004 has 18m strike but at 20°, meaning true width of the 2D is about 6m. MS22RC003 has 6m strike but at 20°, meaning true width of the 2D is about 2m. This indicates a very narrow seam which is almost vertical.
- Claims that the strike length is ~90m when the map displays ~70m for the ore zone.
- Drilling program, even with another 4 holes planned, isn't comprehensive enough to de-risk the site.
- Comstock listed as an "operating mine" when all they appear to have done is blast topsoil.
- Announcement makes no mention of progress at Mt Freda.
I'm still inclined to sit it out on the sidelines at this stage.
