Looking at those early strong trades you refer to, I suspect that strong buying upto 5.5 cents may have been an error. If you are able to view the days course of sales you can see a buy of 239,800 @ 5.5 was reversed. Brokers will sometimes agree to reverse a trade when an mistake has been made (e.g. mistakenly entered order as a buy instead of a sell).

So I am assuming/guessing by looking at the trades that perhaps a buy order was entered instead of a sell. One party agreed to reverse their portion of the trade but others didn't and the broker had to go back and sell the stock mistakenly bought plus then complete the original sell volume as planned. This may explain the quick switch from buying to selling? Add to that some tax loss selling, this combined could explain the weakness and volume.

Thanks for the explanation M1950 re the reversal. It makes sense of the day's activity, coupled with the eofy 'sales' and 'buys'.

The main issue though is the heritage survey and the infill drilling by SFR as per previous posts and published information. That area east of Jacques is what has been of great interest to me since the results were released about a year ago. Now SFR is finally getting on with it.
