I find it really interesting because, yes, there's a number attached, but a lot of people will sell the second the number comes out because they don't want to wait and are happy to take a 10% reduction to get their money today. Not gonna lie, when I was in that boat, I sold early, but that's because part of the payment was in stock in the purchasing company and I didn't like the purchasing company so I didn't want to stick around for 6 months for that. That said, the actual purchase was pretty sudden, it was just the finalisation that took forever.
