and for a normal asx company considering selling itself, or seeking to be bought out, it’s SP and mcap sure are important. Along with revenue forecasts, EBITDA, etc.
I am certainly no expert, but I will argue that the normal measurements of a companies ‘worth’ are Farr less relevant, or irrelevant even, when that company has created a new technology or ‘thing’ whose end value is not yet determined. Thinking of small start-ups creating an app and being bought out for crazy dollars comes to mind.
I hope I am right. Even if our mcap is only $500M as we enter iMec discsiions, I hope our sales team don’t accept the normal mcap + 20 or 40% scenario.
