Agree. Whilst DM and the initial announcement said retention wasn’t the focus, it’s important and has continued to be left ambiguous. Having some idea of the retention/speed trade offs is necessary. I also agree that it would be abnormal to have a write speed faster than read.
Whilst 4DS wants to sell the IP, patents etc. and isn’t going to be a producer, having some idea of manufacturing cost is still important from a time-to-market and P&L perspective for any prospective buyer
