    Optane was 4 to 5 times the speed of NAND, for 5 to 10 times the price per GB. Some people were very happy with it for specialised uses, but most were only willing to pay upto 2x NAND prices for something that still didn’t come close to DRAM speeds.
    In 4DS it looks like we finally have non-volatile at aprox DRAM performance. Compared to NAND, 4DS seems about 30x faster in read and 100,000x faster in write. The cost per GB and power usage need to be favourable.
