re: Ann: Further Strong Results from Nymagee ... Sydney - Friday - July 8: (RWE Australian Business News) - YTC
Resources Ltd (ASX:YTC) today announced the strongest copper results
recorded to date from drilling at its 90pc-owned Nymagee Copper Project
in the Cobar Basin, New South Wales.
Hole NMD038 was drilled at the southern end of the Nymagee
mineralisation to test shallow copper sulphide mineralisation associated
with the southern footwall zone and then to intersect the Nymagee Main
Lens at moderate depths.
The hole intersected record grades and widths in the southern
footwall zone and the Nymagee Main Lens:
* 18m at 6.3pc copper, 0.65g/t gold and 26g/t silver from the
Nymagee Main Lens; and
* 92m at 1.5pc copper from 88m in the southern footwall zone.
Approvals to complete a detailed drill-out of both the southern
and northern shallow copper targets have now been received and this
program has commenced.
This program will include 7000m of RC and diamond core drilling
and test the shallow copper zone over a strike length of more than 600m.
