My old next door neighbour and friend who used to be a fly blown geologist logging drill chip and core for a living but who moved up in the world and is now on many important mining company boards, told me that he was colour blind. I said to him, how do you manage to log the rocks without seeing colour? He said he was better than most geologists as colour often is the source of misidentification as the textures and shapes are more reliable, so if PXX has a good colour blind geologist on staff you might have some hope of payable Cu grade in that interval.

I'll tell you something else about geologists. Before you put them in charge of a mining company make them work for 12 months at the corner deli, if they can keep that solvent over that time you might consider giving them the job because most geologist will piss money into the ground chasing their theories until the money is all gone.Esh

that's more than a little insulting to a geologist. Our theories are what make mines. Case closed. The people in charge usually piss the money away and blame the Geo.
