The stock is going to be judged on the Scoping Study it releases.
The downside is the delay. The impact on the SP will negative be short term.
The upside is decreased OPEX and CAPEX. The impact on the SP will be positive long term.
I'm happy with the decision.
Sometimes I think people need to take a break from HotCopper. Checking in habitually on a daily basis can alter your perception and ability to take a view on a stock that's longer than a few weeks.
The aim of the game is for CLA to prove it can comfortably go mining and that funding won't be an issue. Lower OPEX & CAPEX both achieve this. This strategy forces anyone else wanting the asset to pay through the nose for it.
This is value creation with a horizon longer than a few weeks into the future.
