PPL-1 is described by PAA as an 'anthelminthic' but I'm not sure if they've ever revealed the identity of the actual compound. A search on anthelminthic gives a range of possibles including one named 'mebendazole', a member of a family called benzimidazoles. The following story is interesting in the light of the above (note list at end of story):
