    Yeah it's the "not knowing" which way they will jump that adds to the overall uncertainty right now, which contributes to the low SP.

    Can they use the large cash pile to grow the business? if so, how? Buy something I presume? Buy what?

    If all the money can't be used for that then it must be returned to shareholders.

    Buyback preferred at these levels.

    Not divvy as we get taxed. Another option is a capital return. If you sell an asset and return the capital as a one-off payment to shareholders IRD won't tax it.

    Let's say they have $100M for a CR. For every 2 shares owned you could destroy 1 shares and pay the shareholder NZ11.45c/share. You still own the same % of the business as you did before, but you get a tax free payment that you can invest elsewhere (or buy more Sky shares if you want!).

    A lot of options for Sky - but which way will they go?

    FY results 2 weeks away and AGM will be not too long after that.

    Let's see.
