the mind boggles, as to all the ins an outs of that. it would be complex, or at least to me.
think part of the previous discussion might have been, holding a patent everywhere else in the world rather than china, might be enough, as companies wanting our IP would prefer to deal with other than china in this area. that assuming china comes up with something themelves.
...who knows what else they or other might be hidden in chips and IP,..
would be interesting, if not concerning, to see if China or olthers NK, Russia etc becomes a buyer of our IP. ... or would we be allow to?
think they would have already spent a few rounds of 499
