They seem to be able to drill from the non-snowy face.

And apparently they can sometimes drill through snow -

But I assume certain areas are better when the snow is less thick or gone.

Then on-foot exploration is probably best without snow cover. Can't do rock chip samples if you can't see the rocks under the snow. So they'd be rock chip sampling in the dry areas in the mean time, but can only sample certain areas when it's warmer.

I remember the area between Train and Trumpet has minimal rock-chip samples. I assume because the snow slides down the mountains into this valley area, so it has near continuous snow cover. So they've sampled the ridges extensively.

Note that Korbel is green, while Train/Trumpet are white. It looks like summer to me, but Train/Trumpet retain significant snow cover.

    Here's something crazy -

Global warming? Different satellite photography? Different time of year?

Quite possibly global warming, as Greenland / Antarctica are shrinking for example. The same probably applies to Korbel's snow cover.

Korbel is being revealed (from below the snow) more each year...bad for the world, but good for NVA's exploration (hopefully I'm not inviting conspiracy discussion...).

So if NVA survives for the medium-long term, or even the 5 years that is available before possible production, then new areas within their licenses are probably going to open up for easier exploration.

Another interesting one. Train/Trumpet in summer vs winter.

I'm not 100% sure if these are both pure satellite images, or the 2nd one is a satellite image that Google has processed with a 'winter' filter. But it's a pretty big difference.

From the recent announcement (visible gold in RPM), they're already drilling RPM but not Train yet. So apparently the below image is RPM, even though the snowy ridgeline looks a bit like Train:
