Past reports on the Lorraine Ni-Cu mine published by CML showed gold was recovered. Same mine operators reported the high-grade gold on the 6th level - which CML was targeting in the first 5-holes of this programme. The mine was closed without the gold being further investigated.
The way I read the CML updates since the Lorraine drilling started on 30 June, is the shearing and alteration is that persistent to require relogging and sampling.
Although VG shown today is great, the gold assays will be a change of fortunes one way or the other.
If positive, the scale of the alteration may indicate a decent scale discovery!
